Code: Marla is a musical project based completely around a love of sound. Its about freedom of expression, non-conformity and music as an art form.

Code: Marla create dark, glitch laden dubstep flavoured beats and mixes them with soaring synths, ground shaking bass and crushing guitars to provide a unique rock edge.

02/09/10 - Spontaneous is complete
After what feels like a lifetime I am very happy to say that I have completed another track. Vocal duties have been taken care of courtesy of the hugely talented ALEX BEHARRELL (www.alex-beharrell.co.uk) and JADE LAWTON.
The eagle eyed amongst you may have noticed that in the website title it says "dubstep/metal/minimal" ... spontaneous takes care of the dubstep.... The morning after is pretty minimal... but there is a large lack of metal... have no fear I am currently working on some beasty guitar driven tunes that will rock your brain out of your ears. An agressive but artistic mix of Dubstep and metal... a new genre perhaps? I call it... STEPCORE :) Watch this space.

30/07/10 - Welcome back MAX BRIDGES
I have removed some tracks from the website as I am moving Code: Marla into a new direction. I am once again working with Max Bridges to provide some rock/metal guitar work. Previously he has only added live guitar however we are now writing together to give the tracks a more rock edge to make them stand out from the waves of other dubstep out there.
I will upload tracks soon, you wont be disappointed... a unique sound is being created and we will kick start a Stepcore revolution.

01/07/10 - Vocals have landed
I would like to say that since my last update I've been massively busy... but that would be lying. as I have mostly been playing video games.
I have however recently been joined by the lovely JADE LAWTON who has just finished recording some vocals for Spontaneous. I will upload the track as soon as it is mixed, hopefully within the few weeks or so.
